Manage content distribution channels

Distribution

Distribution tracks where your content goes and how it gets there.

What is a distribution?

A distribution connects a piece of content to a destination:

  • An article linked to a social post
  • Content scheduled for multiple platforms
  • Tracking of what's been published where

Creating a distribution

  1. Go to PublishDistribution in the sidebar
  2. Click Create distribution
  3. Select:
    • Content: Which article or brief
    • Channel: Where it's going (social accounts)
    • Schedule: When to publish
  4. Click Create

Distribution status

StatusMeaning
DraftNot yet scheduled
ScheduledQueued for future publish
PublishedLive
FailedPublish attempt failed

Managing distributions

View distributions

The Distribution page shows all distributions with:

  • Content title
  • Channel
  • Status
  • Scheduled/published date

Edit a distribution

  1. Find the distribution in the list
  2. Click to open
  3. Update details
  4. Save

Cancel a distribution

For scheduled distributions:

  1. Open the distribution
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Confirm

Retry a failed distribution

If a distribution failed:

  1. Open the distribution
  2. Check the error message
  3. Fix the issue (e.g., reconnect account)
  4. Click Retry
