Articles
Articles are the content you create. You write them — Boki helps with research and review.
Creating an article
From a brief
The recommended workflow:
- Open your brief
- Click Create article
- The editor opens with brief context
From scratch
- Go to Create → Articles in the sidebar
- Click Create article
- Enter a title
- Start writing
The editor
Boki's editor supports:
- Rich text: Formatting, headings, lists
- Markdown: Write in markdown syntax
- MDX: Include React components
- Real-time collaboration: Multiple writers simultaneously
- Version history: See and restore previous versions
- Comments: Leave notes for collaborators

Writing with Boki
While writing, you can:
- Ask Boki inline: Highlight text, click the sparkle
- Request reviews: Technical or marketer review
- Check visibility: Score against a question (beta)
- Get suggestions: Ask for rewrites, expansions, or simplifications
Boki never writes the article for you. You write. Boki reviews and assists.
Article views
Articles support multiple views:

Table: List view with title, status, date, word count.
Board: Kanban by status (Draft, Review, Published).
Calendar: Articles on publish dates.
Article status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Work in progress |
| Review | Ready for review |
| Approved | Passed review, ready to publish |
| Published | Live |
| Archived | No longer active |
Exporting articles
Export your articles in multiple formats:
- Markdown (.md)
- MDX (.mdx)
- PDF (.pdf)
- Word (.docx)
To export:
- Open the article
- Click the menu (three dots)
- Select Export
- Choose format
Managing articles
Edit an article
Open the article to edit. Changes save automatically.
Delete an article
- Open the article
- Click the menu (three dots)
- Select Delete
Duplicate an article
- Open the article
- Click the menu (three dots)
- Select Duplicate
Creates a copy with "Copy of" prefix.
