Manage expert profiles for attribution and sourcing

Experts

Experts are the people and organizations you cite as authorities in your content.

What is an expert?

An expert in Boki is a source profile. It could be:

  • A named individual (researcher, analyst, executive)
  • An organization (research firm, company, institution)
  • An internal team member (your CTO, product manager)

Creating an expert

  1. Go to ResearchExperts in the sidebar
  2. Click Add expert
  3. Fill in the profile:
    • Name: Full name or organization name
    • Title: Role or position
    • Organization: Company or institution
    • Expertise: Areas of knowledge
    • Links: Website, LinkedIn, or relevant profiles
  4. Click Save

Using experts

After creating an expert:

  • Attach insights (quotes, data) to their profile
  • Reference them when writing content
  • Boki can suggest relevant experts for your topics

Managing experts

Edit an expert

  1. Find the expert in the list
  2. Click to open their profile
  3. Make changes
  4. Click Save

Delete an expert

  1. Open the expert's profile
  2. Click the menu (three dots)
  3. Select Delete

Note: Deleting an expert removes their profile but insights may remain as orphaned entries.

Search experts

Use the search bar to find experts by:

  • Name
  • Organization
  • Expertise area
