Key concepts
GEO — Generative Engine Optimization. Optimizing content so AI systems (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) cite and surface it. Not the same as SEO.
AEO — Answer Engine Optimization. Structuring content for featured snippets, knowledge panels, and direct answers. A subset of visibility work.
LLM visibility — How often and how accurately large language models reference your content when answering questions. Boki's LLM search visibility agent (beta) scores content against specific questions.
