Expert Insights — organize sources and expertise for your content

Research

The Research section helps you organize the expertise and insights that inform your content. It has two components: Experts and Insights.

Expert Insights

Expert Insights is Boki's system for managing sources of truth. Instead of searching for the same expert quotes or data points repeatedly, you save them once and reference them across your content.

Experts

People or organizations you cite as authorities. An expert might be:

  • An industry analyst
  • A thought leader
  • A company or research firm
  • An internal subject matter expert

Experts have profiles with:

  • Name and title
  • Organization
  • Area of expertise
  • Links to their work

Insights

Specific quotes, statistics, or findings from your experts. An insight is:

  • A single, citable piece of information
  • Attributed to an expert
  • Reusable across multiple pieces of content

Why use Expert Insights?

Consistency: The same expert is cited the same way everywhere.

Speed: Find relevant quotes without re-searching.

Credibility: Build a library of verified, high-quality sources.

LLM visibility: Content with authoritative citations performs better in AI-generated responses.

Workflow

  1. When you find a valuable source, add them as an Expert
  2. Extract key quotes or data points as Insights
  3. Reference insights when writing articles
  4. Boki can suggest relevant insights based on your topic
