How to use Ask Boki in the editor

Access Boki's agents directly from the article editor without opening the global chat.

Overview

Ask Boki in editor gives you quick access to agents while writing. Highlight text, and agent options appear.

Prerequisites

  • An article open in the editor
  • Text to select (50 words minimum for reviews)

Steps

  1. Open an article in the editor
  2. Select text you want help with
  3. A sparkle icon appears near your selection
  4. Click the sparkle, or right-click and select "Ask Boki"
  5. Choose an option:
    • Ask a question — freeform question about the selection
    • Technical review — check code and technical accuracy
    • Marketer review — evaluate structure and effectiveness
    • LLM visibility — score against a question (beta)
  6. The response appears in a panel

Available actions

Ask a question

Select any amount of text and ask anything:

  • "Simplify this paragraph"
  • "Is this claim accurate?"
  • "Suggest a better opening"

Technical review

Select at least 50 words of technical content:

  • Checks code accuracy
  • Verifies technical claims
  • Identifies inconsistencies

Marketer review

Select at least 50 words:

  • Evaluates structure and flow
  • Checks funnel alignment
  • Assesses clarity

LLM visibility

Select at least 50 words:

  • Scores against a question you provide
  • Shows gaps compared to competing content
  • Suggests improvements

Using the response

After Boki responds:

  • Accept suggestions by editing your text
  • Ask follow-up questions in the same panel
  • Dismiss if you don't need the suggestion
  • Copy useful parts to paste elsewhere

Result

You can get agent help without leaving the editor or losing your place in the article.

Tips

Select complete thoughts: A full paragraph gives better context than a fragment.

Use for specific issues: Stuck on a paragraph? Select it and ask "How can I make this clearer?"

Combine with global chat: Use Ask Boki in editor for quick checks, global chat for deeper research.
