How to request a marketer review

Have Boki's marketer review agent evaluate your content for effectiveness.

Overview

The marketer review agent evaluates structure, flow, sourcing, and clarity. It's not about grammar — it's about whether your content achieves its goal.

Prerequisites

  • An article or brief with substantial content
  • At least 50 words of text to review

Steps

  1. Open your article in the editor
  2. Select the text you want reviewed (minimum 50 words)
  3. Click the sparkle icon that appears, or right-click and select "Ask Boki"
  4. Choose Marketer review from the options
  5. Wait for the review

What the marketer review evaluates

Structure and flow:

  • Does the content follow a logical progression?
  • Are transitions smooth?
  • Is the opening compelling?

Funnel alignment:

  • Does the content match its intended stage (awareness, consideration, decision)?
  • Is the call-to-action appropriate?
  • Does it move the reader toward the next step?

Source quality:

  • Are claims supported?
  • Are sources credible and current?
  • Are there missing citations?

Clarity:

  • Is the main point clear?
  • Is jargon explained when necessary?
  • Can the target audience understand this?

Example

You select your article introduction:

"APIs are important for modern software development. Many companies use APIs. In this article, we'll discuss API authentication methods that developers should know about."

The marketer review might respond:

  • ⚠ Opening is generic — "APIs are important" doesn't differentiate
  • ⚠ "Many companies" is vague — consider specific examples or data
  • 💡 The introduction doesn't preview the value — what will readers gain?
  • 💡 Consider starting with a specific problem or scenario

Result

After a marketer review, you'll have:

  • Feedback on structural issues
  • Suggestions for stronger positioning
  • Identified gaps in sourcing or clarity

You decide what to implement. The review is advisory.

Tips

Review complete sections: Select an entire introduction, argument, or conclusion for cohesive feedback.

Review at different stages: Early reviews catch structural issues; later reviews polish effectiveness.

Combine with technical review: Use both for technical marketing content.
