How to connect X and LinkedIn

Connect your X (Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts to publish and schedule social posts from Boki.

Overview

Boki supports publishing to X and LinkedIn through the social scheduler. Connect your accounts to:

  • Schedule posts from the social scheduler
  • Publish directly from articles
  • Track engagement

Prerequisites

  • A Boki account
  • Active accounts on X and/or LinkedIn
  • Authorization to connect (for LinkedIn Company Pages, you need admin access)

Steps for X

  1. Go to PublishSocial scheduler in the sidebar
  2. Click Create post
  3. In the account selector, click Connect X
  4. You'll be redirected to X to authorize Boki
  5. Review the permissions and click Authorize app
  6. You'll be redirected back to Boki

Confirmation: X appears in the account selector with a connected status.

Steps for LinkedIn

Personal profile

  1. Go to PublishSocial scheduler
  2. Click Create post
  3. In the account selector, click Connect LinkedIn
  4. You'll be redirected to LinkedIn to authorize
  5. Review permissions and click Allow
  6. You'll be redirected back to Boki

Company Page

To connect a LinkedIn Company Page:

  1. First connect your personal LinkedIn profile
  2. Ensure you have admin access to the Company Page
  3. In the connection settings, select the Company Page from available options

Confirmation: LinkedIn appears in the account selector.

Permissions requested

X permissions

Boki requests permission to:

  • Read your profile information
  • Post on your behalf
  • Read your posts

LinkedIn permissions

Boki requests permission to:

  • Read your profile
  • Post on your behalf
  • Access Company Pages you administer (for Company Page connections)

Managing connections

View connected accounts

The social scheduler shows your connected social accounts when creating or editing posts.

Disconnect an account

To disconnect:

  1. Find the account in your social connections
  2. Click the menu (three dots)
  3. Select Disconnect

Disconnecting removes Boki's access. Scheduled posts for that account will fail.

Reconnect an account

If a connection expires or fails:

  1. The account shows a warning status
  2. Click Reconnect
  3. Complete the authorization flow again
