Insights
Insights are specific, citable pieces of information from your experts.
What is an insight?
An insight is a discrete piece of information you want to cite:
- A direct quote
- A statistic or data point
- A research finding
- A recommendation or prediction
Insights are attributed to experts and can be reused across multiple articles.
Creating an insight
- Go to Research → Insights in the sidebar
- Click Add insight
- Fill in the details:
- Content: The quote, stat, or finding
- Expert: Who said or produced this (select from your experts)
- Source: Where it came from (URL, publication, interview)
- Date: When it was published or stated
- Tags: Categories for organization
- Click Save

Using insights in articles
When writing:
- Search your insights for relevant quotes
- Insert the insight with proper attribution
- Boki can suggest insights based on your article topic
Managing insights
Edit an insight
- Find the insight in the list
- Click to open
- Make changes
- Click Save
Delete an insight
- Open the insight
- Click the menu (three dots)
- Select Delete
Search and filter
Find insights by:
- Text search (searches content)
- Expert (filter by source)
- Tags (filter by category)
- Date range
Best practices
Be specific: "Revenue grew 47% YoY" is more useful than "Revenue grew."
Include context: Note why this insight matters.
Date everything: Insights age — knowing when something was said matters.
Attribute properly: Always connect to an expert when possible.
